Jul 4, 2011 − Thanks to the community's feedback, we have continued the development of KNP Ipsum. And now, Symfony2 is available on github as a Symfony2 Tutorial Application!
Thanks to the community's feedback, we have continued the development of KNP Ipsum.
We have fixed a few things, we have added new bundles :
- DoctrineExtensions
- PagerFanta
- RestBundle
- Sonata AdminBundle
And for all of you who were wondering how to use the awesome Behat (Behavior Driven Development framework for PHP) in Symfony2, Everzet himself has written user stories all over!
Just browse the demo website and you will see the Behat feature files we use at the bottom of the page.
Pretty cool, isn't it?
We have also decided to switch to a full application - rather than an edition builder.
This will allow us to ease maintanability and open-source it to ease user contributions.
As a matter of fact, the code is already on github!
You can also download the ready-to-use git-friendly version as a base of your project.
Special thanks to Stof who has recently joined the KNP team and who was a great help on KnpIpsum!
UPDATE − December 16th
Great news! As of today, we'll be offering you something much better: a Symfony 2 Tutorial as a screencast on our brand new KnpUniversity platform!
Written by our very own Ryan Weaver − manager of the Symfony2 documentation, trainer, talker and Symfony2 enthusiastic developer.
